DIY Tutorial: Homemade Star Wars Stickers

Putting stickers on your stuff can be so fun and add personal touch to your thing, especially when the stickers are custom made just how you like it. Of course you can go to a print shop and make one yourself, but what if I tell you that you can make your own custom stickers with only few tools that you might already have in home.

So for Today’s Attempt I’m going to show you how to make Star Wars themed stickers! Here are supplies you will need to make this:

  • Paper (Any kind would work)
  • Coloring Tools (Markers, Color Pencil, Watercolor, Paint, anything you like)
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Clear Tape
  • Scissors
  • Laminating Sheets (Optional)

First draw whatever image you like on the paper. Because I’m making Star Wars themed stickers, so I turn Star Wars characters into icons.

To make it easier for you to draw, I usually break the image into few basic shapes and start to complete it by drawing the detail after. You can watch the video to see how I done it steps by step.

Once you done with drawing, stick double sided tape all over the back of paper and then stick clear or packaging tape on the image to make your sticker last longer. Lastly, cut the sticker along the shape and you’re done!

Optional step: One thing about packaging tape is the limited width, so you can’t cover a large image seamlessly. But you can use laminating sheet that usually come in A4 size to cover up larger area.
